Angela Farquharson Sculpture
Angela adheres to the values of classical figurative sculpture while capturing the modern idiom. Her work explores the relationship between fabric, drapery and the human form - the way they create new shapes and constantly change their appearance as the female body moves.
Inspired by the dramatic and ever changing Welsh landscape, Anna's blankets and cushions epitomise a contemporary interpretation of the traditional Welsh textile. Taking the best of the ancient traditions of the Welsh woolen mills, weaving and knitting, she loves to make bold statements through her work with an emphasis on strong pattern quality and colour - all drawn from the landscape around her home and studio in Eyri (Snowdonia).
Menna Jones Jewellery
Menna's home on the Gower Peninsular provides the inspiration for much of her work and the natural beauty of the area is her palette for this innovative collection. Using traditional bench skills alongside modern computer aided design tools, this collection epitomises her desire to capture a detail or moment in time from her surroundings while creating jewellery that is contemporary and stylish.
