Justyna Medon designs beautiful handprinted wallpapers and textiles that encapsulate the very essence of exquisite contemporary interiors - a fusion of tradition, heritage and the contemporary.
A member of the Historic Wallpaper Conservation Society and Heritage Crafts, Justyna combines her contemporary practice with the conservation of historic pieces.
From bespoke one off pieces, to custom collections, her work is underpinned by her passion for surface design in papers and silks, her considerable body of work incorporating individual silk wall hangings, historic wallpaper facsimile custom printed textiles and wallpapers for both private and corporate clients.
Notable projects include work for TV and international theatres. Television credits include recreating Tudor textiles for the Spanish Princess and Becoming Elizabeth. Collaborations with fashion designers have taken her to both the London and Paris fashion weeks.

Justyna has specialised in hand printed wallpapers and textiles since graduating with a BA in Surface Design from the London College of Communication 2010.
Fascinated by the history of printed wallhangings in England, she applied for, and was awarded, a Queen Elizabeth Scholarship Trust scholarship in 2022 to support her postgraduate study of wallpaper conservation at City and Guilds, London Art School - research which she continues today and which forms part of her practice.
An educator as well as practitioner, Justyna shares both her passion and knowledge in historic surface design and conservation, lecturing at the Bristol UWE, Chichester College, Bath College and Cirencester Brewery of Arts.
