I wanted to create a piece that envelopes the viewer in the energy of the repeated pattern of the circles. They illuminate from a central cirle that is actually a hole, look through the hole and you see the life or energy beyond.

A piece honouring the role of the tree as a conduit for transferring information and messages through ancient markings: its history and story captured in the scars found within the wood. 

Titled because, although storm fallen, it gives the tree a new monolithic importance, capturing Glen's passion and love to create work that gives new life to the otherwise abandoned and forgotten.
