Duo Dodecade is created from two constructs made up of twelve sides joined to form a whole. At its intersection a deep geometric 'crevasse' is created.

One of a series of small scale sculptures depicting the female form, this piece is characteristic of Angela Farquharson’s work and her interest in classical figurative sculpture. 

The textile ‘detail’ is inspired by the folds and flow of fabric as it drapes across the body, creating new interest and a sense of sensuality within the piece. 

This sculpture, with its flowing lines, captures the essence of something being held close, protected, a face hidden by the wind as it sweeps through her hair,  giving a sense of freedom to this classical pose.
