Duo Dodecade is created from two constructs made up of twelve sides joined to form a whole. At its intersection a deep geometric 'crevasse' is created.

A sculpture that beautifully captures a sense of rapturous and sensuous delight - the fine detail and flowing lines typical of an Angela Farquharson sculpture.  

One of a series of small scale sculptures depicting the female form, this piece is characteristic of Angela Farquharson’s work and her interest in classical figurative sculpture. 

The textile ‘detail’ is inspired by the folds and flow of fabric as it drapes across the body, creating new interest and a sense of sensuality within the piece. 

This sculpture, with its flowing lines, captures the essence of something being held close, protected, a face hidden by the wind as it sweeps through her hair,  giving a sense of freedom to this classical pose.  

This beautiful study of a flower nymph combines the exceptional attention to detail characteristic of Martin’s work with his ability to create a story which invites the observer to pause and reflect.

 Despite it’s scale the eye is drawn to the detail which makes the piece both intimate and powerful.

Mirroring the Fragile Form Sculptures by Mari Thomas, this stunning brooch is crafted from 18 ct gold and black ruthenium - two precious metals chosen by Thomas to reflect our curatorial theme of Black and Gold for Collect. 

The intricate hand carving, while creating interest within the piece, captures Thomas' response to our brief for Collect and reflects the significance of words and language within the Fragile Form Series.
